Why does my birth time matter?+
Your birth time sets your rising sign and houses — the framework that places every planet in a real area of your life. Without it, your sign placements are still accurate, but the rising sign and houses can’t be calculated. We never guess them.
What if I don’t know my birth time?+
You still get an accurate chart of your planetary signs and a meaningful daily reading. MoonCusp clearly marks which details (rising sign, houses, exact angles) are unavailable rather than inventing them. You can add your time later if you find it.
Is astrology scientifically proven?+
No. MoonCusp is astrology-based reflection and entertainment, not science. It doesn’t predict the future or guarantee outcomes. We calculate your sky precisely and offer it as a lens for reflection — the meaning you take from it is yours.
How is my personal data used?+
Your birth details are private to your account and protected by row-level security. They’re used only to calculate your chart and readings — never sold, and never sent into analytics. You can edit, export or delete everything at any time.
Can I delete my profile?+
Yes. From Account & privacy you can delete saved people, individual readings, or your entire MoonCusp profile, and export a copy of your data first. Deleting your MoonCusp data doesn’t affect your shared SkipSeek sign-in or other products.
What does MoonCusp Plus include?+
The complete daily reading, a seven-day outlook, full chart interpretation, full compatibility, a personal transit calendar, an expanded Ask MoonCusp allowance, reading history, bookmarks and notes, notifications, and premium share cards.
Does “cusp” mean I have two signs?+
No — that’s a common myth. You have one Sun sign. MoonCusp uses “cusp” to mean transitions and timing: the edges where one influence gives way to the next, which is what your daily reading tracks.
What do conjunction, trine, square and the other aspects mean?+
Aspects are the angles between two planets in your chart. Conjunction (about 0°) blends two planets together; sextile (about 60°) and trine (about 120°) are harmonious and flowing; square (about 90°) and opposition (about 180°) create productive tension. The “orb” is how close the angle is to exact — a smaller orb means a stronger aspect. Your chart’s Major aspects section explains each one you have in plain language.
